Trainer Bio: Marlene Fernandez earned her M.A. from Pacific Oaks College in Human Development with the emphasis in Social and Human Services. Marlene has over 35 years of experience in community service, family engagement, and advocacy. She and her husband are the founders of The Center, which serves as a resource center for individuals and families within the San Gabriel Valley. Marlene has served as an Educator and Adjunct Faculty at Pacific Oaks College, Claremont Lincoln University, and Mount San Antonio College in the Human and Child Development Departments. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is an advocate for social justice and equity. Marlene is also a Keynote Speaker at various conferences, seminars, and workshops throughout the nation and abroad. Currently, Marlene is the Training Manager at Pacific Clinics HS/EHS Program, providing and supporting Staff Professional Development and Training modules and programs.
