Touchpoint Banner

Each month, NHSA Touchpoint shares insights into our latest work to support your programs, our community’s accomplishments and special events, a love note or two, and up-to-date info on Head Start’s highest priorities. This month, we’re talking about summer learning. (Last month, we talked about The Academy!)

This Month’s Theme: Summer Learning

There are lots of resources that can support your work and professional development this summer. ECLKC has information geared around supporting kiddos with IEPs and IFSPs. Last but certainly not least, NHSA is getting ready to launch The Academy which will have plenty of learning opportunities of all kinds!

Love Note

Sending our appreciation to Jackie Cross at Anoka County Community Action and her whole team! They have been beta testers for The Academy. At the end of the day, what we want is to deliver something that you can really use, so we especially appreciate their help.

In Case You Didn’t Know

We have a wonderful new addition here at NHSA— Malkia Payton-Jackson! Malkia is working on building our alumni program and she is doing an amazing job. Innovators and communicators, advocates and thinkers, health care heroes and teachers themselves—our alumni and their stories represent the vast and diverse fabric of America. If you attended Head Start, please join our alumni network!
