On April 17, NHSA submitted comments in response to ACF’s kinship foster care Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. Though this proposed rule isn’t expected to significantly change procedures for Head Start in working with kinship care families, the new potential ability for kincare families to qualify for Title IV-E payments (as proposed by this rule) is significant.
