On May 10, NHSA submitted comments in response to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Child Nutrition Programs: Revisions to Meal Patterns Consistent With the 2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (88 FR 8050). In particular, our comments focus on those parts of the proposed rule pertaining to the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
