Senate Committee on Banking Testimony
On March 7, 2023, Anat Weisenfreund, director of Head Start and Early Learning Programs for Community Action Pioneer Valley, testified in front of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Policy about the immense benefits Head Start brings to the children and families in our communities, the current funding challenges Head Start faces, and the significant impact of potential future funding cuts.
