Program: Enhancing Attunement with Music Rituals
Description: Tricky transitions—like school drop-off, naptime, and handwashing—don’t have to be tricky. Music rituals help counteract stress responses and reduce anxiety by creating calm, setting expectations, and strengthening attunement.
Learning Objectives:
- review the elements that trigger “shutdown” mode in young children,
- why music transforms those responses faster than other solutions, and
- how specific engaging activities can boost social-emotional development to maintain positive learning and home environments.
Price:
- Regular Rate: $75
- NHSA Member Rate: $50
