A staff member conducts a 20-minute interview with a family caretaker, using Parent Gauge. You receive immediate insights about each family’s unique situation, allowing you to provide targeted support right away. The tool aggregates data across your program, center, or classroom levels to reveal patterns that inform broader program decisions.

Your annual subscription includes comprehensive training and ongoing support:

We recognize that each program has unique needs. We see three common interview seasons:

  • Initial interviews are conducted at the beginning of the program year with all new-to-Head Start families and throughout the year with new enrollments. These identify the strengths parents are bringing into the program and opportunities for support.
  • Mid-year interviews are typically conducted a few months into the program year to gauge parent sentiment and their confidence levels with the program based on early impressions.
  • End-of-year interviews are conducted at the end of the program year to see how parent sentiments have changed, how they felt about program efforts, and to measure growth from earlier interview sessions.
