Our team is actively working towards getting approval in all states so that everyone can access the quality education and training we offer.
If you have any specific questions about the status of our courses in your state, or the requirements that may be required for approval, we encourage you to reach out: academy@nhsa.org.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to grow and succeed, and we are here to help make that happen. No. While we recognize that individual needs can vary, we believe that purchasing a subscription for your entire program provides the best value for most cases. Our subscription model provides your entire program with access to all of our courses and resources for a set period of time, which allows you to maximize your investment and ensure that everyone has access to the education and training they need.
We understand that some may prefer to purchase individual courses, which is why we also offer a la carte options for those who need them. This provides a more flexible and customizable approach to learning, allowing you to choose the courses that best meet your specific needs. Regardless of whether you choose a subscription or a la carte options, our goal is to provide you with the education and resources you need to succeed.
The subscription lasts for a full year once payment is received and the subscription is activated.
Your entire staff, parents, and board members will be able to access our course offerings through your subscription. This allows your organization to maximize the value of your investment and provide relevant training and education to all those who need it. Additionally, if there is any turnover within your organization, new staff will also be eligible to use your subscription, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed. Whether you are a teacher, administrator, parent, or board member, our goal is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to achieve your goals and support your organization’s success.
At the end of your subscription, you will receive an email notification reminding you that your subscription is about to expire. This email will provide information on how to renew your subscription if you choose to do so. Your subscription will not automatically renew or be charged again without your explicit consent. You have complete control over whether or not you wish to continue your subscription.
We understand the importance of keeping our course offerings up-to-date and relevant. That’s why we make a commitment to adding new content to our program on an annual basis. This new content is based on feedback and suggestions we receive from professionals in the field, ensuring that our program continues to meet the needs and demands of the industry. By staying current with industry trends and best practices, we aim to provide our students with a comprehensive and valuable learning experience. At this time, you can expect a total of 42 courses by Fall, 2023.
Yes. After completing a course, learners will receive a completion certificate and a digital badge. They will also be able to view the course on their transcript and professional development portfolio.
We are committed to providing an online educational environment that is accessible to all students, regardless of their abilities. We believe that every Head Start staff member deserves equal access to the resources and training they need to succeed, and we are dedicated to making that a reality.
Our courses are built using Articulate’s Rise360 platform, which is designed to meet the accessibility standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The platform’s accessibility features are continually reviewed and improved, and you can review the current features and accessibility conformance report at any time.
In addition to the platform’s accessibility features, we also embed open captions on all course videos, making it easier for those with hearing impairments to access the content. Transcripts are also available upon request.
We understand the importance of providing education and professional development opportunities in multiple languages, especially for dual language learners. Currently, our courses are delivered in English, but we are actively working to expand our offerings to include additional languages. Our goal is to provide everyone with access to the resources and training they need to succeed, regardless of their language background.
We believe that offering courses in multiple languages is essential to serving the diverse needs of our learners, and we are committed to providing these options in the future. If you are a dual language learner or require courses in a language other than English, we encourage you to reach out to us and let us know of your interest. Our team is always here to listen and provide you with the information you need to succeed.
