The Executive Leadership Network will capitalize on the power of a professional network to share resources, dig into new ideas, propose challenges, and work together to find solutions. NHSA will engage with the network in meetings throughout the year to discuss pressing issues, gain ongoing perspectives, and provide support where needed.
Quarterly Meetings: Stay up-to-date and well-informed by attending our virtual quarterly meetings. These interactive sessions provide a platform for sharing important updates, discussing program strategies, and addressing key challenges within the Head Start community. Members can participate in lively discussions, contribute their expertise, and gain valuable insights from their peers.
Guest Speaker Presentations: Get inspired by thought-provoking presentations delivered by influential guest speakers. We bring in renowned experts from various fields, including early childhood education, leadership development, policy, and advocacy. Explore emerging trends, innovative approaches, and evidence-based practices that can elevate your leadership and enhance your Head Start program's impact.
Registration to NHSA’s Winter Leadership Institute (WLI): Explore the policy and advocacy issues that will impact Head Start for years to come. Members will receive free registration to our annual institute, typically held in January in Crystal City, Virginia. In addition to attending sessions and having the opportunity to meet with members of Congress, committee members will get to bond together over a special dinner.
Interactive Sessions: Engage in interactive sessions that encourage active participation and knowledge sharing. Ask questions, share experiences, and collaborate with other Head Start leaders. We aim to foster a vibrant and supportive community where everyone can contribute their unique perspectives.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded Head Start leaders from diverse backgrounds and regions. Expand your professional network, exchange ideas, and build relationships with individuals who share your passion for early childhood education and leadership. These connections can lead to valuable collaborations and partnerships beyond the virtual realm.
Empowering Future Leaders: The network will serve as a mentor group to driven individuals pursuing the Executive Leadership Credential.
