The Automatic Benefit for Children (ABC) Coalition is advocating to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to send letters to parents and caregivers who received the advanced Child Tax Credit (CTC), but who have not yet filed to claim the second half of their payments. This letter outlines key benefits of  directing resources to families.

NHSA and our colleagues are pushing the IRS to send these letters as soon as possible so caregivers have time to file before the November 15 deadline to claim the CTC through the simplified process provided through childtaxcredit.gov.
