Learning Objectives:

Learners will understand how to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations to support children’s and families’ needs, implement effective communication strategies to support and sustain community partnerships, and create and manage formal agreements with community partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery. 

Head Start Alignment

This course supports programs in meeting the 1302.53 Community partnerships requirement of the Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) in which “A program must establish ongoing collaborative relationships and partnerships with community organizations.”
