In this course, you will be learning about Yogarate. This combination of Yoga and Martial Arts helps children learn self-defense techniques and body awareness. You will learn to develop healthy ways to manage energy and breathing in and out of the classroom.
You will walk away from this course with the ability to lead a full Yogarate class on your own, or alongside one of the many free Yogarate videos on YouTube. Use these techniques along with Behavior Mastery (another Academy+ course) to teach/co-teach like a real dojo!

- Implement a 4 step method of teaching multiple Yogarate self-defense techniques
- Practice a sequence of yoga positions and poses through a full body sun salutation
- Engage in a full-body stretching sequence to energize and excite the kids and staff for learning
- Utilize games and activities that reinforce the Yogarate techniques and movements
