CDA Pathway to Purpose 

In partnership with Harmony, The Academy at NHSA is proud to introduce CDA Pathway To Purpose—a program that allows high school students to access The Academy at NHSA’s CDA coursework at no cost! 

Why it matters: 

By working with Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms, learners will become skilled in human development in an early childhood education setting while earning a credential that helps them graduate work-ready. Moreover, they will find meaning and purpose as they become an integral part of their communities, helping to shape the future. 

Program highlights: 

• Scholarships are available at no or low cost
• Self-paced content
• No physical classroom needed 
• Support with placement at an Head Start and Early Head Start program
• Free books provided to all scholarship students 
• No minimum or maximum enrollment requirement
• All school systems - especially those in small and rural areas Curriculum may also be used to supplement an existing ECE course, leading to CDA eligibility upon graduation
