Head Start

NHSA in the Classroom is a high-energy, interactive music and movement time designed to keep children active, engaged, and thriving.

Together, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute (SNZCBI) and NHSA provide free nature- and conservation-based learning opportunities about Zoo animals to young children in Head Start programs across the country.
